Webcast - Hosted by Pharmacy Magazine and P3pharmacy |
|
| | | | On Monday 17th August, Pharmacy Magazine and P3pharmacy hosted a pilot webcast to discuss The Wright Review – What Next for LPCs? |
The webcast reflected on the main findings of the review, highlighting some of the key themes of the debate so far, looking at what lessons can be learnt from other sectors, and exploring the direction of travel and anticipated next steps, particularly for local representation and support. |
We had a fantastic line up of panel members and speakers sharing their views and debating next steps. This included: - Professor David Taylor, Professor emeritus of pharmaceutical and public health policy, UCL School of Pharmacy
- Richard Whittington, Chief executive officer, Local Optical Committee Support Unit
- Luvjit Kandula, Director of pharmacy transformation, Greater Manchester LPC
- Shilpa Shah, Chief executive officer, Kent LPC
- James Wood, Chief executive officer, Community Pharmacy Surrey & Sussex
|
Our aim with the webcast is to provide insight for our readers to enable them to better engage in the process and move it forward. It is, after all, a once-in-a-generation chance to create the modern and effective representative structures that will support the community pharmacy sector as it transforms into a vital component of modernised primary and integrated care. |
The webcast is now available to view on demand and we hope that you find it useful and engaging. |
